Bringing the ballpark atmosphere home with real-time game automation

I built Rally Lights to solve a simple problem: I wanted my living room feel like Fenway Park. What started as a basic light flash when the Red Sox score evolved into a full event detection engine with verified delays, challenge overturn protection, and team-specific celebrations for international tournaments.

Rally Lights uses a Raspberry Pi to monitor live MLB games through the MLB API, triggering synchronized Philips Hue light effects and audio through Google Home speakers for key game moments like scoring plays, hits, walks, strikeouts, home runs, and wins. I built a custom dashboard that provides real-time game monitoring, speaker and light room controls, and manual trigger buttons, all responsive and accessible across devices.
